These terms set out the rules for using the Grain app and website. They are written to be understandable, but they still matter. If you use Grain, you are agreeing to them.

Acceptance

By accessing or using Grain, including the app, website, or waitlist, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Grain is

Grain is a personal wellness and endurance-readiness tracking tool. It helps athletes interpret data such as HRV, sleep, recovery context, and training-related inputs to support better training decisions.

Health disclaimer

Grain is not a medical device. Grain does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It should not be used to diagnose, monitor, prevent, or treat any disease or health condition.

Always seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns or decisions about your health, illness, training safety, or treatment.

Important

If you feel unwell, injured, dizzy, faint, or medically compromised, the app is not the authority. A clinician is.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Grain, or at least 17 with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian for athletic use.

Acceptable use

Grain is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

reverse engineer, copy, decompile, or tamper with the app except where permitted by law,
redistribute the app or website content without permission,
use Grain in a way that interferes with the app, website, or other users.

Intellectual property

Grain, its brand, design, content, code, and related materials are owned by Black Sheep Cycling Co Pty Ltd unless otherwise stated. Using Grain does not give you ownership of any intellectual property in the product.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grain is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the app will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every athlete or use case.

Black Sheep Cycling Co Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of Grain, including training decisions, missed events, lost data, or device-related issues.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
